Our History

1985

Bob Moores (Owner) bought his first CNC Machine and moved it into his parent’s garage in Chelmsford, MA.

1986

Hard work began to pay off and High Tech Machinists, Inc moved to a bigger space on Tanner Street in Lowell, MA.

1990

Moved a second time to an even larger facility in Chelmsford, MA on Industrial Avenue. At this point, High Tech employed a total of 20 machinists.

2000

Built a 25,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility and purchased 25 new machines to keep up with demand and assure long-term growth.

2001

Featured in first major industry publication, Modern Machine Shop , June 1 st edition.

2004

Achieved ISO 9001 Certified Quality Management System.

2015

Achieved AS9100 Certified

2018

Built a new website with easy-to-use online ordering,a responsive chat feature, and parts tracking.
